The Book Cliffs are a very fun and fact filled place to do spring and summer trips. You get to see some very beautiful wildlife, and in the spring is when you may get to see there young also.
One of the biggest Elk herds in Utah is in the Book Cliffs. This wilderness adventure trip is for those of you who enjoy horseback riding but want the option of having short rides as well as long ones. These trips are very fun for those of you who enjoy photography, sightseeing and the great outdoors. Some of the area we ride and camp in is very exciting because the Native Americans made this there home at one time. This is in Nine Mile Canyon. In these areas there is a lot of ancient Indian activity. 
In some areas we ride there are many Indian petroglyphs to see and photograph. Some of these areas are available to get to by vehicle for those of you who don't or can't ride. We can do trips around these areas and camp where the ancient Indian tribes camped.
There are also some old cattle ranches in the area with the old houses and corrals still standing. The Book Cliffs in general has a very "old west" back ground. We even offer one trip that we can take you by horseback to an old outlaw hide out! We also have a trip we do that shows an old stage coach route and the buildings are still standing!
