A great thing about starting babies earlier is that they are very curious. Sure you can start your horses when you’re ready to start riding, but establishing groundwork from the day they hit the ground helps significantly with their confidence. They have shorter attention spans, sure, but it’s not hard to get it and keep it when their curiosity is peaked

Up for sale. Olive Oil was born May 6th, 2025. Mom is a palomino, dad is a palomino that turned gray. She’s a sweet girl, still learning some things, very smart and reactive. She’s mostly calm and curious about everything.
Right now, along with pressure and release she gets treats. We find babies do very well when they get positive food reinforcement and start asking more of them as they get older until treats are left out entirely.
She can pick up her feet and has been trimmed once so far. She stands very quietly tied up, and always wants to be in your business if you look at her.
