- Destinations: We are licensed and insured to provide year round? Activities on the South Slope of the high uintas, hunting and horseback adventures in the Bookcliffs of SOutheasteran Utah, Guided and unguided hunting trips in the eastern portion of the Wastach mountains. We are licensed through special use permits through the Ashley National forest, BLM Vernal Distcrict and SITLA.

- Uinta Mountains: With our area covering 3 major river drainages and well over 100 stocked and
fishable lake, you can surely find a spot that is just perfect for that back country
getaway you have always dreamed of. If you just aren’t sure contact us and we can
suggest a few of our favorite spots.
- Wasatch Mountains: The area of the Wastach Mountains limited entry area that we guide in was previously known as the Avintaquin limited entry unit. It is located in the South Unit of the Ashley National Forest. It is mostly a high desert type area that starts in the sage and greasewood and leads up to quaking aspen stands and North facing timber stands.

- About Us: Flying J was started in 1970 by Lawny Jackson guiding in the bookcliffs and grew the businesss to include other drainage's of the High Unitas wilderness. It seems Lawny’s most loyal guide actually turned out to be his granddaughter Alesha and even though Lawny has passed his legacy lives in the love of the Bookclifs and Uintas through his grandaugther and the new owners who purchased the business in 2007.
