Drop camp up Yellowstone River reveals damage caused by high water levels this wet spring

A horseback supported hiking trip up Yellowstone revealed tremendous damage. Spots on the Yellowstone trail are actually gone and many areas required rerouting due to the high water levels experienced this spring in the High Uinta’s. If planning a trip up Yellowstone, please be aware there may still be trail work taking place.
