General Season & Limited Entry Deer & Elk Hunts


Archery elk and archery deer season in Utah is one of only a few times where it is possible to hunt two species at the same time. Elk archery and deer archery seasons run simultaneously and allow for a great combination Utah archery hunting experience. Add some of Utah’s best backcountry fishing in the mix and you have the makings for an amazing Utah outdoor archery hunting experience.

We offer several combination archery elk and archery deer hunting trips in Northeastern Utah. You can choose from any bull any buck archery in the High Uintas or you can choose spike only archery elk with any buck archery combination in one of Utah’s premiere limited entry elk units. Either choice of archery elk tag allows you to take either a bull or cow elk allowing even more opportunity to fill your freezer with some delicious elk meat. We offer fully guided or drop camp archery hunting opportunities. Archery elk tags are over the counter first come first serve. Archery deer you would want to apply during the draw period so contact us early for archery tags, the best dates and camp locations.

Utah Big Game Hunting

General Information

Please keep in mind that the application period for big game hunting for Mule Deer Bucks and Bull Elk in Utah, usually starts around February 1st and you must apply online or by phone and the application period runs for approximately 30 days. Don’t miss out in getting your Utah big game Elk, Deer, Moose, Antelope and Mountain Goat hunt application filed on time.

We also offer drop camps  and pick ups on most of these Utah Elk and Mule Deer hunts if you would rather not hunt with a guide. See drop camps page for information on  DIY Elk and Mule Deer hunting in Utah. Also we do drop camps and pick ups on the South Slope of the Uinta Mountains unit. This is a Utah open Bull Elk hunt and  tags usually go on sale over the counter in May some time. We can tailor your Utah hunts and trips any way you want.
