General Season Bull Elk Hunts

Utah General Season Open Bull Elk Hunts

Utah General Season Open Bull Elk Hunt, Utah Elk HuntsWe offer fully guided and drop camp hunts during Utah’s general season open bull elk hunt in some of Utah’s most pristine wilderness country, the High Uinta Wilderness in northeastern Utah. Guided hunts are 2 hunters per 1 guide and take place in very rugged country at high elevation. Our base camp is around 10,200 feet above sea level and we generally hunt uphill from there. You will want to plan some time for acclimating to the elevation.

Our camp is about 2 hours on horseback from the trailhead and we camp near a lake full of brook and cutthroat trout so you will want to bring your fishing pole. Camp consists of wall tents, cots with pads, and a wood burning stove to take the edge off those cold nights and mornings. We provide hearty meals, guides, packing service for you and your game to and from the trailhead, and field dressing of your game.

Hunts do not include personal gear, taxidermy, gratuities or caping.

Our drop camps include packing service to and from camp of you and your game that you have packed to camp. Includes tents, cots with pads, wood burning stoves, cooking utensils, propane cooking and lighting appliances and firewood. We can put you in a camp that we choose or you can choose the area you wish to hunt.

Drop camps do not include personal gear, groceries, livestock left in camp, propane or gratuities.
